Do you think i can get away with thin mascara and lip balm at a no-makeup school?

The rules aren't really VERY well implicted - but if a teacher notices you have LOOOOOADS of make-up on you'll be made to wash it off and might get a detention..

use vaseline - it's awesome stuff. put it on your eyelashes, lips and on your cheeks to make them 'dewy'. it's not make up so they cant make you take it off! oh, and it shapes your eyebrows too!! just dont use too much!! less is more!

I think you'd get away with the lip balm, as long as it's not coloured or shimmery or anything. If I was you I think I might try clear mascara-it would lift your lashes and still kind of open your eyes up but just not colour your lashes. Hope that helps! x
as long as the balm doesn't have any shimmer or look really glossy when you put it on, you should have no problems

It would probably be ok. If it's lip balm and not lip gloss I'm sure you would be allowed it anyways. You could say you have a problem with chapped lips and have to have it. Some lip balms are tinted, so you might like that but I don't know if they would make you switch to a clearer one.





Mascara, I'm not too sure. They probably won't notice a little, but I wouldn't go for the huge lash ones that they show on tv. If they catch you with mascara, you could switch to an eyelash curler.

no it would be fine, alot of young girls slap there make up on with a shovel and look like ommpa loompa's sister, so if you don't go that extreme you'l be fine

Yeahh! My school has a strictly no makeup policy. But I get away with black eyeliner, mascara, blusher and lip gloss. So you should definitely get away with mascara and lip balm.


If you do get asked, just deny having mascara on and say the lip balm is because you've got chapped lips or something. Works every time x
No makeup school is great, it stops young girls from putting their energies into all the wrong things and focus on what theyre coming into school for: WORK.





But as youve only proposed 'moderate' makeup - I would say you could pass with that. Rather than thin mascara, try clear mascara because black/coloured mascara always runs the risk of smudging which would give it away. As for lips, try Blistex 'tint and shine' with SPF 15 - it gives a very subtle pink sheen while softening your lips up and giving them a fuller appearance - but very subtly so - nothing too dramatic or over the top as I myself dont like wearing that sort of stuff.

yeah.. just make it brown mascara and a clear lip balm and you'll make it. My school Used to be like that until all the girls joined up and made a petition. Now we can wear make up but we just cant look like a clown.

i dont think tht thin mascara and lip balm will cause a detention to get.so dont worry .if it cause then jst change ur school and dont forget to shoot ur teacher(obviously with water filled pistol)

i dont think you would get in trouble for that. also, i dont think its right that schools think it is okay to stop girls wearing make up in school times. it is definatly like discrimination! honestly if i was at that school i would tell them where to put that idea! it isnt fair that you cant express yourself!
Yeh u shud b fine...My skwl is a bit like that but not quite as strict...I wear mascara...a tiny bit of conceala %26amp; a clear lip gloss every day %26amp; no teacher has said a thing!
You'll be fine. Just don't go for orange foundation or thick black eyeliner!
Lip balm maybe but not mascara,, I got away with foundation and lip gloss but I didn't get away with mascara and eye shadow
wow!! that would suck cuz i look really bad without make up lol. umm i wouldnt know we lip balm would be on if you sadi your lips were chaped but i wouldnt do the mascara.
We have the same rules; and stricter, but everyone gets away with them.
