How do I no if my makeup is the right color for me?

What colors would make me look more pretty? How do I no if my makeup is the right color for me?
The more natural your makeup look, the better. Start out by taking care of your skin. Wear makeup that brings out the best of your features. Always make sure your makeup is appropriate -- for example, you might wear darker, more dramatic makeup for a night out on the town, but this would not look right for daytime. Try asking a friend for advice whose makeup you like, or getting a makeover at a department store (most times there is no charge). A professional makeup artist should be able to give you some good advice. Above all, the right makeup should make you feel good about yourself, which is the key to real beauty. :)How do I no if my makeup is the right color for me?

It should blend with your skin tone. and not stand out to much. You should also not see a line under your china different color from your cover up. If a color is too harsh it will stand out drastically from your face in a negative way.
Take a small amount and blend it from the bottom of your cheek to under your jawline. If the color is noticeable then its either too light or too dark. If it blends perfectly then its just right. You might even have to mix to colors to get the right one.
Go to http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson and do a Virtual Makeover. It will let you know what colors are right for you. If you have any other questions after that feel free to email me.
Whats your hair/eye color...skin tone. Hard to help when you don't know that information.
JUST ASK AN HONEST FRIEND. SAY, DO I LOOK NATURAL TO YOU? YOU SHOULD LOOK NATURAL, BUT ENHANCED. AND IF YOU WANNA KNOW COLORS, GO TO A PRO. I KNOW, IF U ARE GREEN EYED LIKE ME, PURPLES LOOK FAB, IF YOU CAN DO IT AND FEEL COMFORTABLE.

GOOD LUCK! AND REMEMBER LESS IS MORE!!
talk to an expert in person--i recommend clinique, lancome, or estee lauder. they know what they're talking about, even if their makeup looks atrocious sometimes!

stick to natural hues for everyday looks, but for more ';pop';, don't be afraid to be bold! don't match makeup to your outfit all the time...its tacky! and blue eyeshadow looks horrible on everyone unles you have dark brown skin.

i have yet to find black eyeshadow or yellow look particularly well on anyone either!
if you are unable to see the foundation after it is applied- then that is your match. you want an exact match for your skin color- not something that makes your neck look different than your face. as for the eyes- i have found that the more natural is the best. no shadow. just some charcoal liner on the underside of your top lashes (under where the lashes grow. may seem odd at first, but highlights eyes like you wouldn't believe) nothing on the bottom lashes or eye- and a soft black mascara for the top lashes. top it all off with a clear lip gloss. you will look beautiful
Certified Beauty Advisor for Avon. I would have to know your skin tone and eye color.
It has to match your skin tone, your hair, and what you're wearing. Im a make-up artist and whenever i did my clients make-up i based it on what they were wearing and their face. So if your wearing a blue shirt, you have blond hair, and a semi-dark face. then wear blue eyeshadow. it would look great!
Decide if you have warm or cool skin tones. Warm: slight hints of yellow or brown. Cool: undershades of blue and pink

L'oreal True Match foundation is perfect. I went thru so many other foundations, all of them mismatching, but I finally found the right one w/ L'oreal.
makeup isn't for everyone especially if you dont use is lightly. Allot of women dont realize when there appling too much. makeup should always look natural and not piled on. choosing a color is as appling a little to the back of your hand rubbing it in enough to which it looks smooth and natural. you know when you've choosing the right make up when you start to feel more confident when you look in the mirror and people that never use to notice starting to compliment you.
