I'm wondering if its makeup choice; or maybe my skin is extremely oily? (Which i already know it is)

1] after cleaning/toning face in AM, apply sunscreen or moisturizer with sunscreen.


Then brush teeth, or do hair, or put on clothing, so moisture is ALL absorbed.


2] apply your foundation, blush, or bronzer, if you use any of them.


3] brush a loose tranlucent powder ALL OVER your face - eyelids, eveywhere - so you have a dry, non-oily base; and to set the makeup.


3] Then apply eye makeup.

It sounds like it's your skin that's making your eye makeup disappear. A primer underneath your eye shadow should really do wonders (like Urban Decay's Primer Potion), and layering a base underneath it. MAC has Shadesticks, Paints, and Paint Pots, but if those are a little pricey for you, L'Oreal HIP has products that are similar. Those will intensify the colors that you're using, so even if they fade a little, it won't be noticeable. So start with a primer, then do a matching base over that, and your eyeshadow on top of that, and you should be perfect. Good luck!
make sure your face is clean





apply moisturizer


then foundation


finish off with powder before putting on eyeshadow to absob oil and prolong the eyeshadow. Then put the eyeshadow.





Try Urban Decay. They have this primer for eyeshadow that many swear by.
It could actually possibly be oily skin. Try finding a face wash that helps oily skin and then put on you makeup. Or maybe water got mixed with you makeup? It might be unlikely but still.





Also foundation could help make your makeup stick.
