They prefer to think of it as 'enhancement' and non-natural looking makeup as 'artifical beauty'. Unless, of course, it highlights their clothing. See, if it's a goth girl they're after, they like her to have black makeup--but not so much that it wrecks their natural beauty. 'Goth Makeup' seems to fit into the 'enhancement' (otherwise known as natural looking makeup) if a goth is wearing it. Preps--they usually prefer them to wear pink or red lipstick and eyeliner of a bright color. That is also, for a prep, but PREPS ONLY, a natural looking makeup look. I know this, in case you're wonering, not because I'm a lezzie but because I'm a tomboy and I tend to find out stuff like this quickly when my best friends in the world are boys.

(close to your foundation,) then put your eyeshadow color on (i personalyl like the silver) then apply eyeliner to your top and see how it looks and if needed applly to your bottom
last thing to do is mascara!!

I've found great products there that are only $6, but bring lots of money because it can get expensive sometimes. (As in, LOTS of stuff there costs $25-$30.) The employees are makeup experts, and they'll help you find the PERFECT makeup for you - there are so many products there, there's sure to be something that will look great! Wear sparkly white eyeshadow with mascara and/or eyeliner with shiny lip gloss/chap stick. Don't wear blush or a lot of stuff on your face. It will cause pimples. And you don't need blush to look pretty unless you have like red marks on your skin. How to apply eyeliner : Pull lower eye lid down, draw with eyeliner pencil on part closest to eye. PS if your eyes water you did it wrong. How to apply mascara : Open eyes wide and don't blink. Use mascara stick on your eyelashes and go up while turning the stick. PS Don't touch your eyelashes for 1 minute and 30 seconds to let dry and don't rub eyes. How to apply lip gloss and eyeshadow : Pretty easy just brush it over the area it needs to be put on. PS let mascara dry before putting on eyeshadow.

Ok I think I can definitely help you. When I went into middle school in sixth grade I didn't wear any makeup, because at my school whoever wore makeup in sixth grade was known to be stuck up and not very nice. However, a little eye shadow is cute. If you are going into seventh grade you can start experimenting with more makeup options. I have brown eyes and I use a green eyeliner which doesn't look like too much, but it looks really nice and pops my eyes. I use brown mascara as well. I never use foundation because most girls your age don't know how to apply it correctly and it ends up looking like it was caked on. So unless you have serious acne, I wouldn't recommend it. Use blush on the tops of your cheekbones to highlight them. Hope I helped!

your too young to wear makeup in my opinion at least wait until 8th grade well if u were to wear makeup keep it simple and natural looking use a powder in your skin tone of course instead of foundation it looks better and is better for your skin, wear a light colored blush and maybe a litle bit of mascara- clear or brown, i wouldnt reccomend eyeliner it looks unnatural use a nude colored eye shadow with shimmer just remember to keep it simple and natural looking seeing your so young and probably dont even need makeup

Just use black or clear mascara, you can tell that it is there, but it isnt over done. You should also use a light yellow or silver eyeshadow. A light Pink blush and clear or light colored lipgloss wouldnt hurt. This way you can look natural, but still beautiful. I hope this helps :)
Well, foundation is no big deal just go to Macy's in the make-up section and ask them to get a foundation for you. Now eye make-up. This is my favorite part. haha; :D we;; its depeneds on your eye colorr. You want something that'll really bring your eyes out. Or just any colorr. And you don't need blush to look pretty unless you have like red marks on your skin. How to apply eyeliner : Pull lower eye lid down, draw with eyeliner pencil on part closest to eye. PS if your eyes water you did it wrong. How to apply mascara : Open eyes wide and don't blink. Use mascara stick on your eyelashes and go up while turning the stick. PS Don't touch your eyelashes for 1 minute and 30 seconds to let dry and don't rub eyes. How to apply lip gloss and eyeshadow : Pretty easy just brush it over the area it needs to be put on. PS let mascara dry before putting on eyeshadow.

Ok I think I can definitely help you. When I went into middle school in sixth grade I didn't wear any makeup, because at my school whoever wore makeup in sixth grade was known to be stuck up and not very nice. However, a little eye shadow is cute. If you are going into seventh grade you can start experimenting with more makeup options. I have brown eyes and I use a green eyeliner which doesn't look like too much, but it looks really nice and pops my eyes. I use brown mascara as well. I never use foundation because most girls your age don't know how to apply it correctly and it ends up looking like it was caked on. So unless you have serious acne, I wouldn't recommend it. Use blush on the tops of your cheekbones to highlight them. Hope I helped!

your too young to wear makeup in my opinion at least wait until 8th grade well if u were to wear makeup keep it simple and natural looking use a powder in your skin tone of course instead of foundation it looks better and is better for your skin, wear a light colored blush and maybe a litle bit of mascara- clear or brown, i wouldnt reccomend eyeliner it looks unnatural use a nude colored eye shadow with shimmer just remember to keep it simple and natural looking seeing your so young and probably dont even need makeup

Just use black or clear mascara, you can tell that it is there, but it isnt over done. You should also use a light yellow or silver eyeshadow. A light Pink blush and clear or light colored lipgloss wouldnt hurt. This way you can look natural, but still beautiful. I hope this helps :)
Well, foundation is no big deal just go to Macy's in the make-up section and ask them to get a foundation for you. Now eye make-up. This is my favorite part. haha; :D we;; its depeneds on your eye colorr. You want something that'll really bring your eyes out. Or just any colorr. I have always considered that makeup was something to enhance ones shortcoming. So, unless you are really ugly, don't bother. There is absolutely nothing wrong with natural beauty, and a tiny bit of enhancement. Most girls do. Mostly all of them. But practically none of them will say that they do. I look good without make up in a different way that i look with make up on. I believe if you put your make up on so it looks like you aren't wearing too much make up is the best way to look good. No! Its completely normal, you are probably just used to wearing makeup, and you feel weird/';ugly'; without it. Most girls who wear makeup on a daily basis feel the same way, including me. It seems we only feel comfortable without it around family members, that live with you.

I have a different idea - Go to one of the major department stores that sell cosmetics. Walk around until you find someone behind the counter whose makeup you like. Ask them tho help you. Another place you can go is to Merle Norman as they will teach you how makeup is applied. Note of caution: Everyone has their own idea of what looks good so don't let anyone talk you into something you don't like.

Why is it every time I make a quick trip to the store with no makeup on & hair a mess, I see everyone I know?
LOL! Thats just the way it goes... isn't it? I hate when that happens. So from now on.... if you don't want to take the time to get dressed up to go to the store, put on a thin line of eyeliner on top lid and a coat of mascara, add lipgloss and there you go! Whip your hair into a pony and you will look nice enough to go out in public in case you meet someone! It sounds like a lot, but think about it:

hmm.. all I can say is tough luck. But do you really think you look bad without makeup. Afterall every women is beautiful in her own special way. And the people how know you and love don't love you because the way you look. Just take this in a positive way and you will feel happy.
When I don't feel like getting ready and my hair is disgusting, I throw on a cute baseball cap. It somewhat hides your face, and obviously it covers up your hair. Then I just put on a little gloss. Takes less than a minute!

start pulling your hair up in a twist or pony tail real quick , curl your eyelashes and wear clear mascara everyday, and wear a light colored lip liner and gloss it takes a couple minutes and you wont be embarrased wearing minimal makeup,looking natural versus tore up from the floor up

hmm.. all I can say is tough luck. But do you really think you look bad without makeup. Afterall every women is beautiful in her own special way. And the people how know you and love don't love you because the way you look. Just take this in a positive way and you will feel happy.
When I don't feel like getting ready and my hair is disgusting, I throw on a cute baseball cap. It somewhat hides your face, and obviously it covers up your hair. Then I just put on a little gloss. Takes less than a minute!

All I use on average/everyday for makeup is some eyeliner brown or black, clear mascara on eyebrows and sometimes lipgloss. When I wash my hair, I dry it with a hairdryer afterwards, then in the morning I just straighten my fringe and brush my hair a bit. Colors from nature (rose petals, charcoal, petroleum jelly etc.) have always been the basis for beauty products.Women will always find a way to make themselves more attractive, it is in our nature to groom ourselves to be desireable to the oppisite sex. If the big companys quit forever, beauty will find a way!

As for me personally, I could totally live without make up. I think the world would be a better place. I would love to see my snotty, spoiled foe go without make up. It would be hilarious! But a little on those that can use a bit of extra color here or there, (Rosy cheeks or a bit darker eyes when needed) is a good thing. I don't care for the over-do-it makeup jobs when you have a hard time breathing because of the makeup smell in the air. But, then again, the personality can speak louder than any amount of makeup used to cover up or enhance a girl's outward appearance.camera

the other day i was surfing on line and i saw this pretty nice trick.
well for plain lip gloss you could use petroleum jelly that's fur sure, because i've tried that before, and it leaves your lips shiny! and well its also good if they get really chapped that helps. well the way to make colored lip gloss, is just mixing petroleum jelly (probably buy it at dollar store really cheap!) with any color eye shadow, maybe one that you have all broken, you mix them together put it in a little container put it in the freezer for about an hour or so take it out and its done!

I would do a classic smokey eye.
Put a shimmery light cream on the inside corner of your eye to about the middle of the lid. On the outside of the lid, shade with a shimmery black like Black Tie from MAC to the middle inside of the lid and a little along the bottom lashline, on the outside corner of the eye and up along the bottom edge of the brow bone, forming a V-Shape. Finally, swipe a shimmery cream like Maybelline's Tranquil Sands along the top of the brow bone and under the eyebrow, and also put a dab at the inner corner of your eye.
Trace your entire eye with eyeliner and smudge.

You shouldn't need materialistic things to make you feel beautiful. The key is to have confidence in yourself. That's a great place to start. And I'm not saying that in a mean way at all. I just know that if you believe you're awesome, other people will probably believe it too! However, if you want to make yourself look beautiful on a low budget, you could check out some thrift stores and buy some cute things there. I know some people don't like the idea of used clothes, but it's really no big deal and you can get so much more for your money! Lastly, do something really cool to your hair. For example, do a fishtail braid or even just a messy bun. You can do so many things to make yourself feel beautiful. Good luck and remember to focus on all of your good qualities to bring those out and make them stand out the most!

Give yourself a pamper day. Make a face pack out of things you have in your cupboard or refigderator ie yoghurt and cucumbers. Cold tea bags on your eyes are refreshing. Have a long luxury bath with some lit candles and soft music. Do all the moisturising using a cheap moisturiser works as well as an expensive one. Perhaps pool what make up, nail polish etc with a friend and have a session where you make each other over. A good giggle and a relaxing time can make you feel beautiful. Do a good deed, feel good - you look good. Smile - the cheapest and most effective beautifyer!
You don't need new clothes, what you need to do is dress up those clothes you have, wear accessories, waist cincher belts, necklaces, beads, those cool scarfs that all the shops sell.
Just dress up all your old clothes, and borrow your mum's foundation and blusher! Don't use too much though or she'll find out! hehe!
