Remember when you fly, they may still be checking your bags twice, once at the security checkpoint, and once again before you board the plane. Also check with your airline, since sometimes airlines will have a tighter restriction than the TSA.

google the TSA, it's the Tranportation and Safety Administration and they're the ones who decide what the travel restrictions are.
I believe you will have to contact the airport authorities on this, especially when temporary rules were introduced in the light of the threat level changes. Some rules introduced in some airports in the last 2 weeks had been reduced or relaxed.





So more adviseable to check what is currently in place.
