I want to start wearing no makeup?

How can I gradually go down from a full face to nothing? I don't want my coworkers to freak. I also have a tendency to have under eye bags, can anything be done without a full face?I want to start wearing no makeup?
As a guy, I prefer women who wear little or no makeup. I don't like women who are just swimming in makeup, it's not natural.

If your wearing a lot of makeup and want to change to little or none, try getting a new hair style at the same time. Your coworkers will notice something is different, and then you can point to your hair. Chances are that they won't notice the lack of makeup. After a few days and they get used to the new hair, they will also be used to the less makeup look too.I want to start wearing no makeup?
Just go down to wearing mascara, maybe eyeliner if you wear it, and blush. It still looks like you are in full makeup. Then stop using this. It's how I did it. I now wear makeup only when I want to. It's a beautiful thing!
on the tyra banks show they had showed how to hide the bags without a lot of make up
I like it when a woman does not wear make-up. Because on those occasions that a woman does go out and puts on make-up the lady then looks extra special.

Also wearing excess make-up causes premature aging of the skin.
Well nothing is not good for your skin either. One should always moisturize. I guess I would get rid of the foundation first. then the darker lines on the eyes after that. Then all you are talking about is a little mascara and eye shadow with lipstick or lip gloss. Going from doing your face every morning will be a little harder than it seems so plan to use little amounts of make up for a while. When you dont feel comfortable sans make up you can just use less than you are now used to.

Most under eye bags are caused by allergies. If you have sinus problems and take a decongestant then if you watch after a day or two the bags wont look so bad. If that happens you need a daily allergy tablet. (blood travels to the sinus areas and gets up in the very thin skin around the eyes and then cant basically get back out so it congeals under the skin causing the darkness). It takes a while to make a real and lasting difference but the allergy tablet worked for me - mine are considerably better than they were.
i would say start with the powder/foundation.

wait a week or so, then take off your eye shadow. then wait a week or so aging and take off your massacre. Dont take it all off right away, that would be to much. Make it so nobody will notice. And for the bags under your eyes, maybe you should just wear a little concler under them, not alot but just enough to make them go away! =]

good luck !
I'm doing the same thing as well...for me I make sure that I start inside out meaning I am learning more about healthy nutrition ansd how good and bad food affect my health and skin. My advice would be

1. make sure you wash your face day and night

2. make sure your pillow cases are clean

3. wear sunscreen (all the time)

4. exfoliate

5. go see a esthetician or derm to get a professional skincare routine and also tallk to them about your eyes...you need to find out things like do you have bags under your eyes because of allergies or is it genectics, that way you wont have to waste money on products

5. find out what vitamins your body needs

6. drink plenty of water

7. eat plenty of dark green vegetables

8. eat plenty of salmon

9. you may want to invest in a skin brush ( theone that I am getting is by clarasonic) and what this is for is to help the products that I am putting seep in better by opening up my pores

9. stay consistent with your routine ( it may get worse before it gets better)

10. exercise

11. educate yourself on products that work for your skin type, at first there might be alot of hit and misses but the more you educate yourself the more it'll help youin the long run...hope this helps a little
a trick that my friend taught me and it kind of works, idk because i dont have bags under my eyes, but to put orange lip stick under your eye, than put concealer over that, just try it, it might work

it depends on how much you wear in the first place, if you wear eyeshadow,-stop wearing eyeshadow and just stick with eyeliner and mascara, than the next day or whatever dont wear any eyeliner but keep the mascara and than you can come in with no mascara on, thats the order i would do it on at least,
i used to wear a ton of makeup and then stopped gradually.

soooo, you could just lighten it everyday, like a little less eyeliner, mascara, foundation each day so people dont really notice, i have bags under my eyes too so i still always wear concealer under my eyes but people cant really tell because i only put a little bit on.
Definitely don't over do it. The less the better. Start with foundation and use maybe a little mascara to enhance the eyes. I like simple and natural :).
Ok

1. apply a mousturiser to your face. let it sit for like 2 min. then take it off wit a warm rag

2. apply your coverup to spots u arent comfortable wit. DONT APPLY TO MUCH BECAUSE U HAVE FOUNDATION

3. apply a foundation that matches your skin tone

4. apply a finishing powder

5. apply blush using a fluffy brush and gently sweeping it back into temple area

6. apply eyeliner and then eyeshadow and then mascara. PLEASE DO IN THIS ORDER

7. be pretty
I think you should at least wear some make up. Some is better than none. You can still wear make up and look natural if that is what you are worried about.
Sarah, I am a fifty year old man and I prefer a woman who does not wear any makeup. I think most makeup makes a person look like a clown. If you have bags under your eyes try cucumber slices or used tea bags over your eyes for five minutes, that should help if not totally take care of what you are worried about. But stop the makeup, the beauty of a woman is much more than skin deep, show it off and flaunt it!
First of all, kudos to you for wanting to show off your natural beauty more! Here's how I would go about from ';full face'; to ';nothing';:

1. Start with a freshly cleaned, toned (yes!), well-moisturized face. Put on that sunscreen because makeup or no makeup, it'll help protect your skin in the long run.

2. I know this is going to sound difficult, but go down from foundation to a tinted moisturizer- if you desire more coverage, use a coverup instead. You might feel a little ';naked'; initially, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. You want to look like yourself, just a bit more polished. And that's exactly where the TM comes in- to even out your skintone, so your coworkers don't ';freak';. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Stila Illuminating TM, and Laura Mercier make some fabulous ones in the market. As for coverup, try MakeUp ForEver concealers- they're full strength heavy duty concealers (sold at Sephora) that you'll immediately fall in love with. So if you have really obvious blemishes or spots, you really want to try this out.

3. I noticed your concern for the undereye bags. And my best piece of advice to you is to get something to lighten up the area, not necessarily conceal it. For example, BeneFit makes a fabulous product called EyeBright- a light-reflecting pencil that helps with that lightening of the circles. Not cakey at all, and even helps with that ';freshly rested'; look. Another BeneFit product is Lemon-Aid; this is a more pale yellow product to help even out your lids- you don't want to walk around with no bags but still tired looking eyes, so check this out too, especially if you plan on giving up eyeshadow altogether.

4. Now that we have your lids and bags taken care of, let's move on to the actual eye makeup. For me, if I'm going for the natural look, this much is plenty. Groomed brows complete the look. But if you don't feel comfortable, apply a little mascara to your top lashes only (CG Lash Exact and Stila Major Lash Mascara are my two favorites) and a little bit of dark brown eyeliner on your bottom lashes (Maybelline makes excellent soft pencils). If you really want to do eyeshadow, keep it simple. You don't need three different colors necessarily. All you want is one good neutral color- sweep it on lightly over your lid and you're done! Apply a little bit of EyeBright in the inner corners of your eye and right underneath the brow bone for a more wide-awake and pretty look.

5. One simple product that won't breakout your skin and is as quick as 1-2-3 for your cheeks and lips? Benetint (by BeneFit)! It's a cheek/lip stain that's extremely gentle and long-lasting. Put on a tiny amount, and you're done!

Remember, these five steps were just a mini checklist to help you in gradually reducing your makeup. You want to do the ';natural look'; more often so that when you finally feel comfortable enough to stop using makeup, it won't be such a shock to you or your coworkers! Good luck and hope this helps :)
